Washington State Caucus

Well, Washington State's caucus has come and gone. My precinct selected all six of its delegates to the 11th Legislative District Convention for Barack Obama. Ginger and I were "elected" as delegates to the District convention in April, so we'll keep everyone informed if any bribes come our way. BTW, if you have the opportunity to participate in a caucus, do it. It is truly democracy in action.

Goddamn Democrats!

I always wondered why Washington State has both a caucus and a primary. I still don't know, but I did find out today the Democratic candidate will be chosen from the caucus results on Feb. 9th and not from the primary. I thought this was going to be easy, I even filled out my absentee ballot last night! Now I have to go caucus...probably for Barack Obama.
