What the hell is going on?

Did I hear correctly? NBC is reporting that the President based part of his decision to invade Iraq on a Vanity Fair article! I can see my future now:

William E. Eseltine, Nation Security Advisor and former head of the Central Intelligence Agency has written extensively for Mad TV and the Tony Danza show. His latest movie is National Lampoon's Presidential Election staring Alicia Silverstone and Carrot Top.

Oy.

I'm a little more surprised that the man reads for leisure.

If you're going to base a world-altering decision on any one periodical though, I think that that maybe Vogue is a better choice. That way you can weasel out of the whole thing by saying something like, "but earth-toned camouflage was so hot last season."

Meh. It'd buy it.

The previous report indicated that the source was Highlights for Commanders in Chief.

And Lo! I have made my "LOL guyz Bush is dumb am I rite?" comment for the day. Feels good to get it out of the way.
