New additions to the federalcheese family

Some may have noticed a few new names recently added to the "links" list here on federalcheese. Melissa Compagnucci's late night/early morning blogging questions everything from contemporary morality to bruised fruit, and is always entertaining. Stacie Pudas is one cool chick. I like that she has gotten her revenge on me for having her link last on my list by doing the same with me. Well played. Unconfirmed reports also state that Stacie can get speeding tickets voided. And Jonathan Dow. Jonathan always has a unique perspective on events. His insights into the varied uses of packing material is awe inspiring. Welcome all.

I know, I know

The novel is not progessing at the speed that some might have expected. Okay, maybe it's moving faster than most might have thought, but the important thing is that it is coming along. I'm working on a few ideas, trying to hash out some plot lines, stuff like that. Part of the problem is that I am also working on the screenplay for "Young Guns IIII." Side projects. . . um. . .aside, work on the novel will continue.

New and Exciting Changes

Federalcheese is proud to announce a new feature. You may have noticed the new addition to this page's sidebar. "Federalcheese Takes Issue" will be a daily updated "bitch session" for the administrator of this site. Nothing is sacred and no one is immune from it's wrath. In reality, it will just be more useless bullshit, but I'll try to make it funny. Also, I am not a web designer, but I am reading a book about it. In the future "Federalcheese Takes Issue" may look cooler, but I make no promises. It's a thick book.

Correction

The previously discussed computarmachine header is utilized on the "comments" page and not the main page. My apologies.

Thank you, Justin Cooley

For finally paying your bills. The temporary shutting down of computarmachine really opened my eyes to reality. Foucault was right, The world organizes itself in a series of structures and those structures started breaking down on Wednesday. For those who don't know, federalcheese has outsourced most of it administrative responsibilities to the computarmachine network. When it goes down. . .the whole world goes down. Or, at least, mine does. I am also glad to see that Justin Cooley has decided to employ a header very similar to the one federalcheese used to before I screwed up the HTML so bad as to have to start over. I like the "new" look.

PS: foucault

Stop what you are doing. . .

and read (hopefully reread) "The Great Gatsby." I get reaquainted with it every spring and man. . .it just keeps gettin' better! It is roughly 50,000 words long and serves as inspiration for my own novel. True love, the absurdity of American society, how the world can truly destroy good people, it's all there. I have an extra copy for the first person to claim it.

New Endeavor

For those of you who wait for updates to "the story of federalcheese," of which there was one recently, your wait may be extended. I have committed myself to a novel writing challenge. Some may have briefly read about said challenge at computarmachine.com, but it is not a joke. In the span of thirty days, I will complete a 50,000 word novel (roughly 200 pages). Readers can follow my progress by watching the updates on this page's sidebar. I promise to update the page count daily and no, you can not read it. Because you wouldn't want to. Trust me.
